SUmmitt Chaplain programWhat is a driver chaplain?
Traditional chaplains can be certified, have a theological education, or be ordained or commissioned by a particular denomination. Chaplaincy has traditionally been associated with representatives of the Christian faith, but the term is now used for representatives of any faith. Some chaplains are expected to represent multiple faiths and act as a neutral spiritual resource. Chaplains work in many environments. Most commonly, chaplains are attached to the military, hospitals, law enforcement, fire departments, political bodies, sports teams, and educational institutions. Summitt Trucking provides its drivers and employees with in-house chaplains. Our chaplains are expected to serve the spiritual and emotional needs of our team. Prayer Requests and Our Youtube Channel All of your prayer requests that come through our website or mobile app will be directed to our Driver Chaplains. You can also reach the Chaplains at their email: [email protected]. Additionally, you can find links to our youtube videos at the bottom of this page. The videos are here for your encouragement and education. Interested in finding out more about Summitt’s Chaplain program? Talk to Bill Matthews or Lori Higgs!
