BILL'S STORY:"Born and raised here in Louisville, KY area. Graduated in 1989, then served 10 years in the navy which included desert shield/desert storm. Lived the cliché sailor’s life, which continued once I got out. Came to Summitt in 2004, so not right from the start, but really close. I finally came to my senses and began to earnestly search, and in August of 2015, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. After my baptism, I began to work in various capacities at my church which later would include teaching a Bible Study class. In 2018 I began to attend Bible College to increase my knowledge of Scripture and in the hopes to become a minister one day. Near the same time, I began to serve as an office Chaplain here at Summitt. In August of 2019, I was asked to step in to preach at Bethel Christian Church due to the loss of their minister. After a few months, the elders of the church asked and I accepted to be their minister. I was ordained in March of 2020 and have been ministering there ever since.
